2026 Bank of Taiwan All-Hands EcoHike

On May 16, 2026, the Bank of Taiwan held the All-Hands Eco Hike at the Guandu Hiking Trail inBeitou District to encourage employees and their families to visit the mountains and forests, gooutdoors, and embrace nature. While relaxing their minds and bodies, they also embodied the bank'sdetermination in conserving the environment and protecting the earth by taking part in a simple clean-up activity.

This event received enthusiastic support from existing employees, retirees, and their families,garnering nearly two thousand participants. Joanne Ling, Chairperson of Bank of Taiwan, also ralliedthe management team to participate in the event. The hike took place along the Guandu Hiking Traillocated behind Taipei National University of the Arts, where the rich artistic atmosphere soothes thesouls of those who come to enjoy the outdoors. As the terrain gradually rises, the view opens up,allowing one to temporarily forget the hustle and bustle of the city. On this occasion, the bank’semployees and their families who participated in the hike did not forget to pick up litter along the way,fulfilling their mission of "keeping the mountains clean and taking litter down the mountain," andprotecting the forests with concrete actions.

To encourage employees and their families to get outdoors, connect with nature, relieve stress,demonstrate environmental awareness of protecting the environment, and cultivate exercise habits,the Bank of Taiwan has been holding a hiking event on May 20 for many years. In addition to hostingthe recreational activity that benefits the employees’physical and mental health, the event also fulfillsthe the bank’s corporate social responsibility of environmental protection and sustainability.
