In order to strengthen consumer protection, leverage operational synergies, and enhance service quality, the Bank of Taiwan has on August 1, 2025 merged with its subsidiary the Bank of Taiwan Insurance Broker Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Bank of Taiwan Insurance Broker”). The Bank of Taiwan shall assume all rights and obligations of Bank of Taiwan Insurance Broker, ensuring that the rights and interests of existing policyholders remain unaffected.
The merger ceremony was attended by senior executives led by the Bank of Taiwan Chairman Jong-Yuan, Ling and President Chia-Hsiao, Wu, together witnessing a new milestone in the Bank of Taiwan’s journey towards establishing comprehensive financial services.
Taiwan has from 2025 onwards progressed into a super-aged society, the Bank of Taiwan expresses.
