Bank of Taiwan Wins the Reader’s Digest “Trusted Brand” Gold Award in the Banking Category for the 20th Time and Receives First Gold Award in the Care Trust Category

The 2025 Reader’s Digest “Trusted Brand” Awards Ceremony for the Taiwan region was held on May 26 at the Taipei Marriott Hotel. Bank of Taiwan(BOT) was honored with the Trusted Brand Gold Award in the Banking category for the 20th time and, for the first time, received the Gold Award in the Care Trust category. The awards reflected BOT’s longstanding focus on customer needs and the provision of quality financial products. The bank’s stable business performance and exceptional brand image in financial services has earned the trust and recognition of consumers.

BOT has always embraced “people-centered” as its core value and strives to provide financial products that offer security with a human touch. The care trust service is based on the three missions of “protecting the underprivileged”, “providing care and public welfare services” and “meeting customer demands.” A variety of products and innovative service models were therefore developed. Personalized “Care Trust” contracts were introduced for aged and mentally/physically handicapped people. The optimization of the application process, enhanced service quality, as well as cross-industry partnerships not only served to assist the client with managing their assets, but also ensured their economic security so that their care needs can all be met. BOT efforts have resulted in the winning of the top award at “Elderly Care Trust Awards” administered by the Financial Supervisory Commission for two consecutive years.

In recent years, Bank of Taiwan has also made significant progress in digital transformation. Efforts include the establishment of a digital brand identity and the revamp of its century-old brand image. The Bank has launched several innovative services, such as the “Tuition Payment Portal”, “Convenience Store QR Code Verification”, a new-generation official website, Bank of Taiwan Mobile+ app, and Podcast channel. Internal processes were also streamlined through the BOT Robotic Process Automation (RPA) initiative. The improvements to user experience and brand interactions aimed to put a user-centric philosophy into practice. The Bank’s exceptional performance and brand influence have been recognized with the 21st “National Brand Yushan Award” and the 2024–2025 “Brand of the Year” honor from the World Branding Forum, affirming its achievements in digital transformation, innovation, and branding on both domestic and international stages.
