On October 27, 2023, Bank of Taiwan (BOT) joined hands with its subsidiary, BankTaiwan Insurance Brokers Co., Ltd. (BTIB), to organize the third blood donation event at the head office. Colleagues, clients, and the wider community were called upon to roll up their sleeves and let love flow, fostering personal well-being while making a meaningful contribution to the health of others. The goal is to inject a positive, benevolent energy into society through the proactive efforts of the financial sector.

Blood donation, an important annual charitable initiative for BOT, consistently garners the enthusiastic backing of Chairman Lyu Jye-Cherng. He personally graced the event, expressing gratitude to our colleagues and dear friends who have always supported Bank of Taiwan in joining this act of love. Through blood donation, BOT encourages everyone to contribute their bit and enrich Taiwan's medical blood supply.

Since 2019, BOT has been hosting annual blood donation campaigns in various locations, including Taipei, Tainan, and Kaohsiung, receiving strong support and participation from the local community. In recent blood donation events in Taipei, Taipei Blood Center deployed three large blood donation vehicles and continually refined the operational processes to minimize waiting times and enhance the overall experience. The October 27 event proved to be a great success, as 608 bags were filled with over 150,000 CC of life-saving blood. In total, the BOT's efforts have resulted in the collection of 7,028 bags with over 1.75 million milliliters of blood.
