Employee Communication Pipelines
BOT has established a CEO mailbox for employees to share their thoughts and feedback. Relevant units shall quickly deal with and respond to any complaints received from employees. We also hold regular employee-management meetings to coordinate employment relations and promote employee-management cooperation. Employee symposiums and meetings are also convened to communicate and resolve doubts. The Employee Communication Platform on the bank's intranet so that employees may communicate their business experiences and insights. Valuable suggestions from this platform are used as a reference for future business improvements. In 2023, BOT held a total of 19 employee-management meetings with 20-30 participants in each session. The issues discussed at these meetings included assessments, welfare, employment or promotion through screenings, and reward and punishments. Employee symposiums were hosted by the vice president in charge of personnel affairs and intended to advocate the policy direction of the head office and promptly resolve or follow-up with management and business promotion needs of managers and internal personnel of units in each region. In 2023, 192 employees participated in these meetings.

Trade Union Communication
BOT's employees have established a labor union and a labor union in Kaohsiung based on the provisions of the "Labor Union Act". BOT (hereinafter referred to as the BOT Labor Union) adopts a neutral attitude towards trade unions, fosters mutual trust and respect with them, respects their rights and interests, and communicates in goodwill. To ensure the rights and interest of both employees and management, BOT has signed a collective agreement with the labor union to resolve labor disputes through communication and negotiation. The number of employees covered by the collective agreement signed by BOT is 8,183 according to the letters of confirmation of membership signed by the end of 2023 (coverage rate 99.1%, not including overseas local hires and security personnel).
