Diverse Training

The training courses provided by BOT are classified into two major systems, e.g., "Comprehensive Cultivation and Development Series Courses" and "Professional Series Courses".

Type Description
Comprehensive Cultivation and Development Series Courses These courses focus on cultivating talent to serve as managers and deputy managers and enhancing cadre's leadership and communication skills. A Succession Planning and Management Associate Program are offered. Besides, to enable new employees to quickly understand the business overview of BOT and improve working efficiency and service quality,we also provide a New Employee Preservice Training Class and mentor system. Our mentor system is used to actively assist new employees in adapting to the work environment.
Professional Series Courses These courses focus on improving the professional knowledge and skills of BOT's employees. In 2023, we opened preliminary, intermediate, and advanced classes for loans and foreign exchange courses. Credit check courses will also be offered in 2024 based on grade levels. By targeting suitable trainees, we aim to progressively provide complete training courses to employees at different grades.

Digital Learning

In consideration of the impact of digital transformation on enterprises, and for the purposes of improving employees' professional skills and assisting them in mastering business trends and developments, BOT completed the installation of the "Digital Wave System" in 2020 and continually updates system technology and operating functions to strengthen information security and meet business needs. This system offers personalized functions that display individual learning, as well as management functions for training courses, thus assisting each business managing units in charge of training to capturing the learning records of the entire bank. Furthermore, with automation and control functions, this system can initiatively notify trainees of incomplete courses and fully manage viewing hours. BOT has also planned to optimize the audio transmission quality and interactive function of the "TOP Meeting System" Online Meeting System to enhance learning efficiency, reduce commute time and achieve environment protection purpose. In 2023, a total of 335 courses were launched, with 410,368 views.

  • Talent Cultivation

    The "Comprehensive Cultivation and Development Series Courses" in BOT's training system intend to effectively cultivate employees' competency through systematic resource engagement. After joining BOT, employees may participate in the new employee preservice training class and have the opportunity to participate in an management associate program or other training plans to enhance their leadership, communication, and managerial skills, develop teamwork, and drive innovation and other skills. Those who pass the management associate program assessment may be prioritized to participate in the " Succession Planning", and develop as a unit manager and deputy manager in the future.
